RemoTerms of Use
These terms apply to your use of Remo ("Remo: Universal TV Remote"), developed by Perizade Erbas. By downloading or using Remo you agree to them.
License agreement
Remo is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add details about subscriptions and the service; where they differ, the Apple EULA applies to the license itself.
Remo Pro subscription
Remo is free to download. Some features require a Remo Pro subscription, available as an in-app purchase. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions).
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Compatibility
Remo controls TVs over your local network using the network control features that TV makers build into their products. Which buttons and features work depends on your TV's model, software version and settings, and TV makers can change or turn off these features. Remo doesn't work with Hisense TVs that run only VIDAA or with cable and operator set-top boxes. Please check that your TV works with the free version before you subscribe.
Acceptable use
Use Remo only with TVs and devices you own or are allowed to control, and in line with applicable laws.
Trademarks and independence
Samsung, LG, Sony, Bravia, Roku, Amazon, Fire TV, Google, Google TV, Android TV, Vizio, SmartCast, Philips and Panasonic are trademarks of their respective owners. Remo is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these companies. Brand names are used only to describe which TVs Remo works with.
Disclaimer and liability
Remo is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee that it will work with every TV or without interruption, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
Privacy
How Remo handles data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continued use of Remo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
